Fees for programs
Full fee = $121 per term plus materials if applicable
Discounts are available for Members and Concession card holders
Member fee = $110.00
Concession fee =$99.00
Payment can be made by CASH, DIRECT DEPOSIT or EFTPOS
10% discount will apply if payments are made in full until the end of week 2. Week 3 onwards if payment is made in full, no discount applies.
Casual fee = $12.00
Please note that there will be no discounts on the casual fees, it will only be offered for courses that are not at max capacity and excludes Learn Local courses.
Drawing
It’s time to get in touch with your creative side! Learn some fundamental drawing techniques such as linear drawing, and shading. You will draw from nature, still life, from a photograph and more.
Day: Monday: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
Diamond Dotz® Group
Diamond Dotz® is a craft where you make beautiful designs using tiny "Diamond" like facets. Bring your current diamond dot project or start a new one and enjoy time with like-minded new friends.
Day: Monday, 12:30pm – 2:30pm
Cost: $2 per session
Knit & Sew 2 Give
Welcome, we are a group of people that enjoy getting together to sew, knit or make other craft items for the purpose of fundraising for MNH and donating items to other not for profit organisations. We have a passion for making and giving back to our community and to other communities in need. This is also a great way of sharing craft ideas and tips and learning new skills. If you have a passion for making and creating, then come to MNH and join our group.
Day: Monday, 10am – 12pm
Cost: FREE
Soft Pastel Painting and Drawing
Painting with soft pastels is just like any art medium; practice makes perfect! Learn how to use soft pastels, basics and how to shade. For line drawing or hatching, create beautiful painting as you quire new skills. If soft pastels aren't for you, then come to this class to learn how to draw instead.
Day: Monday 10am-12pm
Quilting
Quilting can be mastered by anyone! Those pioneer women did it in the 1800s, and they did not even have electricity. It would be too hard to teach you how to quilt in just one class. It takes practice and trial-and-error. Start learning this timeless craft, in no time you will start to understand the process and create a lovely heirloom piece or a keepsake to treasure.
If you want to stay for longer there is a social quilting group that runs straight after the class for just $2.
Day: Wednesday, 10am – 12pm
Cost: Normal fees apply plus quilting machine fee of $30 per term
Quilting Group
Come and do your quilting in a group - we can't promise you will get much done with all the chatting and socialising but you'll have a great time!!
Day: Wednesday, 12:30pm - 2:30pm
Cost: $2 per week
All Star Women's Group
Come and join our all-abilities women’s group where we will be running different, fun activities throughout the term.
Day: Monday's 10.30am-12pm
Cost: $5 per session
Sit 'N' Sew
Come along to this class and do some quilting, patchwork or learn how to appliqué. Talk to our friendly tutor if you have other projects you are interested in... you will receive lots of guidance!

How to book a course
Bookings are essential for all programs as we require a minimum number of students to go ahead. Classes will only commence if enough people book in for the class. For this reason, we encourage students to book in so we can estimate numbers. In the unlikely event that we don't get enough enrolments, we may need to postpone to a later date or cancel the course
