Our community is at the heart of everything we do

Our Vision
A safe and supportive centre where all our community can connect, learn and belong.
Our story is also yours
The Moe Neighbourhood House has been supporting the community for over 40 years. We are Community led and work to a community development framework.
MNH is a Not for profit organisation and a registered charity. Every dollar raised is fed back to our community and helps MNH to keep giving back in every way we can.
MNH has a wonderful team of staff and volunteers who provide a friendly, supportive and welcoming environment to all that walk through our doors.
Our History
Moe Neighbourhood House was once called the Waminda Neighbourhood House when it was first established in 1983 by a group of women who attended a local playgroup. These women wanted a little more in the way of a learning centre and by June 1983 a house was allocated which was the beginning of the Waminda Nehighbourhood House.
In 1993 the Waminda Neighbourhood House beacme the Moe Neighbourhood House as it was felt this better represented the community. In 2006 The Moe Neighbourhood House relocated to its current position in James Street which was purpose built and made from 2 of the Commonwealth Games accomodation houses. Which is still our current house that services our community in Moe.
